About Naomi

Naomi Siegal, OTR/L, CMT earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Carleton College (1980), and certification as a Massage Therapist (CMT) in a 1200 hour course at the Boulder School of Massage Therapy (1985). She completed training in Occupational Therapy at the College of St. Catherine in 1996. After many years of focusing on Pediatric OT treatment in her clinic – Success in Motion Therapy – she has now returned to focusing on adult treatment using hands-on massage and bodywork techniques. Her toolbox includes advanced modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage massage, Trager and Myofascial Release techniques along with the more standard massage techniques such as Swedish massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Integrative massage.

While she tells clients she can work as deeply as anyone wants her to, she does not believe that more is always better. Naomi highly values the light touch techniques as being more gentle yet more powerful in helping people to change patterns, allowing them to be more at home and comfortable in their bodies. With acceptance and openness to all body-types, shapes, and sizes, Naomi helps people fully inhabit their bodies in comfort and joy. She particularly enjoys doing detailed, non-painful work on tight necks and shoulders, including those affected by past injuries such as whiplash, as well as stress.

Outside of work, Naomi enjoys taking her dog to the dog park; singing in the Twin Cities Women’s Choir; creating and selling colorful fiber art; and supporting local artists by organizing the yearly Women’s Art Festival in Minneapolis.
